Fast food restaurant franchise chain Noodle Box has continued its push into Queensland following the lease last week of a prominent Mermaid Beach premise. Noodle Box currently boasts 55 outlets along Australias east coast with seven of those on the Gold Coast. They are currently searching for another 10 suitable Noodle Box premises in the region on behalf of the Melbourne based master franchisor.
Fast food restaurant franchise Noodle Box has continued its push into Queensland following the lease last week of a prominent Mermaid Beach premise. A consortium of Noodle Box investors has signed an eight year lease with options for a 72sqm space at 2375 Gold Coast Highway, for a rate of about AUSD720/sqm net per annum. The lease was negotiated by Colliers International retail leasing executive Finlay C Walker.
The new outlet, which opened to the public last week, is being operated under a management agreement with Johburn Resources, lead by local resident Peter Driscoll. Johburn Resources now oversees 11 Noodle Box outlets in south east Queensland. Noodle Box currently boasts 55 outlets along Australias east coast with seven of those on the Gold Coast. Walker said he is currently searching for another 10 suitable Noodle Box premises in the region on behalf of the Melbourne based master franchisor.
The Noodle Box Franchise strict criteria for premises include ranging in size from 50sqm to 70sqm, neighbouring other food outlets and having exposure to both pedestrian and vehicle traffic. The franchisor is receiving constant enquiriesy to open, in particular, Gold Coast outlets.
